UPDATE 01/30/06:
Well, it's over and I made it through! The whole day and weekend was incredible, and I'm so glad that so many family and friends could share it with me. I got through the ceremony so the hard part was over, and then let loose at the party. From what I've heard, everyone had a great time.
Thanks to everyone for coming and for the generous gifts I received, and a special thanks to my Nana for hosting a last-minute Mexican Fiesta at our house on Saturday night for the out-of-town guests, and a special thanks to my Grandma and Papa for hosting an out-of-towner's brunch on Sunday at Father Nature's Shed in Danville.
Be sure to look at the "mitzvah album" section of this website to see shots that the band took at the party. As soon as we get shots from the photographer, we'll post those as well. And if you happened to bring a camera with you, please share the photos with my parents so we can post them on this site as well. Enjoy!

UPDATE 11/30/05:
We've sent out all the invitations, and responses have started to come back. If for some reason, your invitation hasn't arrived, please let us know, as we may have your address wrong.
If you are coming in from out of town, please reserve your hotel asap. Most travelers will be staying at the Sierra Suites, where we have a room block rate of just $79 per night. To get the rate, just tell the reservationist you are with the "Finetti Bar Mitzvah." But rooms are already getting booked within our block, so you'll need to call quickly as we only have a total of 15 rooms in our block. We may be able to add more, but to be safe, please reserve now. For full details and other information for out of town guests, please see the "travelers" page. UPDATE 11/17/05:
We posted some new pictures on the "Family Photos" part of this website, and also updated the quiz a bit.
My mom is busy addressing the invitations and will send them next week, before everyone's holiday cards go out, so be sure to watch your mail. Your invitation should arrive before Thanksgiving.
Many people are starting to ask us if there will be activities planned throughout the weekend. So here's what's happening:
Friday, 01/27/06: Anyone who is available and interested in attending Shabbat Services with us at Beth Chaim Congregation is welcome and encouraged to go, but please know that this is not "required." If all goes as anticipated though, services that night should be a lot of fun, as the last Friday of each month is typically a "Friday Nite Live!" service, facilitated by Rabbi Dan and the Beth Chaim Congregation Band. Yes, I did say a band! After the service, you'll enjoy light appetizers and dessert in the oneg room.
Saturday, 01/28/06: Everyone will of course be at the ceremony on Saturday morning, immediately followed by the lunch/reception. That night, nothing is planned so feel free to enjoy a night out on the town in San Francisco, San Jose or nearby Walnut Creek. There will also be a lot of family and friends in town, so you may want to just hang out and catch up over dinner.
Sunday, 01/29/06:If you're visiting from out of town and/or if you live in the Bay Area but have chosen to stay at a hotel nearby, you'll be invited to an out-of-towners' brunch at Father Nature in Danville, hosted by my grandparents Barbara and David Wolf. The brunch will begin at 10:00 am so if you are making travel plans and would like to attend the brunch, try to schedule your flight for later in the afternoon/early evening if possible.
